This article provides essential information for students applying for Erasmus+ incoming traineeships at European University Cyprus. It outlines the nomination process, required student and university details, application documents, and the approval process for the Learning Agreement for Traineeships. Contact details for Erasmus Academic Coordinators by school are also included.
Only nominated applicants will be considered as eligible candidates for an Erasmus+ Incoming Placement mobility. Nominations must be sent via email to incomingerasmus@euc.ac.cy, indicating the following data, at least three months before the starting date of the placement period.
Sending University details:

- Sending university’s Erasmus code (e.g. CY NICOSIA24)
- Country
- Contact references

- Family name
- First name
- Nationality
- Valid email address
- Program of study at sending university
- Duration of mobility activity in months
- Study cycle (Bachelor/Master/PhD)
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS:
- Application Form (https://euc.ac.cy/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Application-Form-Incoming-placements.docx) for Erasmus+ Incoming Students
- A copy of the European Health Card.
- English language qualifications certificate.
- Copy of the latest Transcript of Records in English.
- A copy of the European Health Card or a Health insurance contract that clearly states your coverage in Cyprus for the entire duration of your stay. In any case, the following areas must be covered:
- wherever relevant, travel insurance (including damage or loss of luggage);
- third party liability (including, wherever appropriate, professional indemnity or insurance for responsibility).
- accident and serious illness (including permanent or temporary incapacity);
- death (including repatriation in case of projects carried out abroad).
- Copy of passport/identity card
- A passport size photograph
- Learning Agreement for Traineeship duly signed:
Complete and/or amend your Learning Agreement (LA) according to the courses offered. You may either complete the paper format or the digital format of the Learning Agreement (OLA). Either way, please keep in mind that the Learning Agreement should be signed and approved by the School’s Erasmus Academic Coordinator on behalf of EUC. Therefore, the paper format of the document (LA), once completed and signed by your home universities, should be forwarded to the relevant EUC’s School Erasmus Academic Coordinator. In regards to the OLAs (at the receiving institution’s information) please note that the “Responsible Person” who will actually approve the OLA, is the EUC’s Erasmus Academic Coordinator, whereas, the “Administration Contact Person” is Ms. Antonia Antoniou – anto.antoniou@euc.ac.cy
