This article provides instructions for students who face technical problems with their computer before or during an exam. It explains how to restart, notify the course instructor, and contact Technical Support. It also includes the process for requesting a university laptop or to take the exam on campus for students located in Cyprus. The platform that we are using for the e-learning program to check the online exam is Proctorio.
If you experience a technical problem with your computer during the exam, stay calm and try to restart your computer and/or browser(Google Chrome). If the problem continues and you are unable to proceed with the exam, you must inform your course instructor immediately by sending an email explaining the issue and, if possible, attaching a screenshot. Please contact Technical Support by phone for further assistance.
If you are experiencing problems with your computer and you have an upcoming exam, you must inform your instructor immediately and try to borrow a working computer in order to take the exam.
If you are based in Cyprus, you may request to borrow a university laptop or take the exam on campus, provided that this is possible in your case.
To submit a request, please send an email to support@euc.ac.cy including the following details:
-
Full name
-
Student ID number
-
Course title and exam date
-
Brief description of the technical problem
-
Whether you live in or near Nicosia
The Technical Support team will contact you with the next steps.
