This article provides detailed information about using an ID card for online exams, particularly with Proctorio. It explains that students can use either their Student ID Card or a national ID for identity verification, and outlines the steps to access, download, or print the Student ID via the SIS platform. It also includes instructions for distance learners on how to request a physical ID card, and where to seek help if they cannot access the system.
For the online exams, you can use your national ID card, or if you have your student ID, you can use that instead.
For online exams conducted through Proctorio, your instructor may require an ID verification
process. You should use your Student ID Card for identification. Alternatively, a Government issued Civil Identity Card can be accepted.
How to Obtain Your Student ID Card:
1. Access the SIS platform using your student credentials.
2. In the left-hand menu, click on the "Reporting" button.
3. From the dropdown list, choose "Student Card." Your student ID information will be
displayed.
If you are using a mobile device, choose "Download File".
Using Your Student ID for Proctorio Exams
• You can print your Student ID Card (in color or black & white) and present it to your
webcam before starting your Proctorio exam.
• Alternatively, you can download your Student ID Card to your mobile device (following
the same steps as above) and display it on your screen for verification.
Requesting a Physical Student ID Card
• If you require a physical StudentID Card, you can visit the MIS Office to have it printed.
• Distance learning students can request a printed Student ID Card by emailing
support@euc.ac.cy.
• In the email, make sure to include your street adress.
