1. Make Sure Proctorio Is Installed
You must have the Proctorio extension installed in your Chrome browser.

2. Re-Install Proctorio
If you already have Proctorio installed, try removing and reinstalling it.
To remove Proctorio:

Click the Extensions icon (puzzle piece) at the top right of Chrome.

Find Proctorio, click the three dots (⋮) next to it.

Select "Remove from Chrome."
Then, reinstall it using the link provided above.
3. Disable and Re-Enable the Proctorio Extension
Sometimes simply turning the extension off and on again helps.
To do this:

Click the three dots (⋮) at the top right of Chrome.

Select Extensions > Manage Extensions.

Find Proctorio, and toggle the switch off (left), then on again (right).
4. Temporarily Disable Antivirus and Firewall
Antivirus software or browser-based firewalls may block Proctorio.
Try temporarily disabling any antivirus or firewall you have installed on your PC or as a browser plugin.
