This article provides step-by-step instructions for faculty on how to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) for accessing MyEucLogin through OneLogin. It includes detailed guidance for setting up OneLogin Protect or Microsoft Authenticator on a mobile device, along with QR code activation and login verification methods.
The following instructions outline how to set up two-factor authentication for OneLogin.
STEP 1: Go to OneLogin page https://gge-cyp.onelogin.com
STEP 2: After you enter your university credentials in OneLogin, you have the option to 'Begin Setup' that you must select to set up the authentication.
STEP 3: After you click on it, you have the option to select 'OneLogin Protect' or 'Google and Microsoft Authentication'; select one of them.
OneLogin Protect Setup:
STEP 1: You must download the application on your mobile phone.
STEP 2: After you successfully download the application, on your computer click 'Activate'.
STEP 3: A QR code is going to show up on your screen, and you must press the '+' in the authentication app that you downloaded before on your mobile, allow the app to have access to your camera, and scan the QR code.
STEP 4: After scanning the QR code, you are logged in successfully to OneLogin. On the application on your mobile phone, you must see a 6-digit code.
STEP 5: Every time you try to log in, you must have access to your mobile to accept the notification from the authentication app or enter the 6-digit code manually."
Microsoft authentication Setup:
STEP 1: You must download the application on your mobile phone.
STEP 2: After you successfully download the application, on your computer click 'Activate'.
STEP 3: A QR code is going to show up on your screen, and you must press the '+' in the authentication app that you downloaded before on your mobile, allow the app to have access to your camera, select “Work or school account” and scan the QR code.
STEP 4: After scanning the QR code, you must enter the 6-digit code from the application onto your screen.
STEP 5: After that, you have successfully logged in.
