This article outlines the steps EU citizens must follow to apply for the Yellow Slip in Cyprus. Here is a list of documents you need to prepare and submit. You must go there in person, by yourself, to submit your application and have your photo taken. 1. A copy of your ID or passport (and take the original with you)
2. A registration letter from the university (original, stating the whole duration of your studies)
3. Your housing contract NOTARISED or an original utility bill with your name on. You can notarize your housing contract at Ms. Gloria Savvidou at 8A, Vyzantiou Street, close to the university. Tel. 99584081.
4. A bank statement for a period of 3 months, showing transactions in Cyprus (No need to be from a Bank in Cyprus, just an account on your name).
5. Medical insurance or European Health Insurance card (EHIC) that you got from your own country. If you don’t have one, you can contact a private provider to get an insurance for the migration, this is what you need to request. It shouldn’t be more than €170 for a year.
6. The completed application form MEU1B https://www.mip.gov.cy/dmmip/md.nsf/All/A20082B49B6E9171C22587AB00373AEF/$file/MEU1B.pdf?OpenElement. You will only need to complete Part I and sign Part 6 (VI).
7. €20 application fee.
